My Work
Recently, I have been exploring the use of memory and perception to create illustrations in a first-person perspective, allowing the audience to use my body as a vessel. I believe by employing my body as a framing device, I can help onlookers see into my world. My process starts with drawing initial sketches from memory, then works to refine them through the method of digital rendering, which felt like the most natural and true medium for me.
Otherwise the majority of my work I create for the benefit of members in my community, friends, and family. This comes in the form of gifts and occasional commissions creating art for display in personal homes, workspaces and events via digital or traditional illustrations. In the past I have also done a fair bit of photography work reflecting on my changing environments, social and personal life as well.
