My Work
In my latest body of work Memories of (Dis)Connection I have been exploring the use of memory and perception to create illustrations in a first-person perspective. Through this perspective I am allowing the audience to use my body as a vessel, helping onlookers see into my world in a series of 12 core memories. My process starts with drawing initial sketches from memory, then works to refine them through digital rendering, as I do with all of my work.
Otherwise, the majority of my work I create is for the benefit of my family, friends and the members of my my community. This comes in the form of gifts and occasional commissions creating art for display in personal homes, workspaces, and events via digital or traditional illustrations. In the past I have also done a fair bit of digital photography work reflecting on my changing environments, social and personal life; though, I also have experience with printmaking, sculptural work, animation, and analog photography.
